Thriving on Campus: Community Reports - Snapshots Webinar

You are invited to join us for this webinar as we provide snapshots of findings and key recommendations from Thriving On Campus’ community reports.

The webinar will include three snapshot presentations focusing on:

• students’ experiences of campus climate and its impacts on their wellbeing and academic development, including highlighting the experiences of trans students;
• the experiences of BIPOC 2SLBGTQ+ students, including experiences with racism;
• the role of disability and ableism in 2SLGBTQ+ students’ experiences.

Presenters will share findings from the study’s survey and interviews and offer recommendations regarding how Ontario universities might better understand and support the thriving of diverse 2SLGBTQ+ students. The presentations will be followed by a panel involving Advisory Board members who will discuss the findings and highlight implications for policy and practice on campuses and beyond. The SGDO's Director, Allison Burgess, will be participating.
