During this event, Black LGBTQ2S+ students are invited to build community, socialize, and engage in discussion for this edition of the Queer & Trans Students of Colour (QTSOC) Discussion program: Black Queer Love.

This QTSOC will be closed to non-Black students in order to centre and give space for Black LGBTQ+ students to discuss the various forms of Black love. We will discuss questions such as:

What is Black queer love to you? What are the narratives we hear about Black queer love? On Friday February 18th from 3-4:30pm we warmly invite Black students to explore these questions with us in a conversation about ancestorial, platonic, romantic, community, and self-love, activism as Black queer and trans students.

This discussion is organized as part of a monthly ongoing series to invite LGBTQ2S+ students of colour and students questioning their gender and/ or sexual orientation together in a confidential space to share stories and ideas as we build community. Come and tell us what you think would help to create more positive spaces and more inclusive conversations!
