Q21: A Conversation Café is back for the 2021-2022 academic year!

Starting a new school year can be overwhelming, whether it's your first year or your fifth year. It can be even more daunting as we continue through a new stage in the pandemic, with some events are online and others are in-person. Either way, it can be difficult to make meaningful connections when starting a new journey. 

This Q21 session will allow students to share their experience with finding and building communities, particularly queer & trans communities, on their university campuses. We want to host an open discussion where students can get to know each other in an inclusive space and share the struggles, achievements, discoveries, and hopes they’ve developed in queer spaces during this hybrid-period in their lives. This session is also meant to encourage students to think about how their respective campuses cater to their vast and varying identities and how we can implement change, and create the communities that we want to see.
