In this edition of Academic Success’ series, ‘How Identity Impacts Learning,’ the SGDO will join the discussion to look at the specific impacts that the marginalization of 2SLGBTQ+ people has on the ability to thrive within an academic setting. Exploring dynamics such as ‘micro’aggressions, imposter syndrome, negative self-talk and more, we will think through holistic strategies to build connection with one’s self, winder community on campus, as well as campus supports in order to strengthen capacity to survive and thrive.
