On-Campus Student Housing

Diversity is an important and welcomed part of the University of Toronto culture and community, and gender diversity is an important aspect of this diversity.  At the University of Toronto, there are many different kinds of housing arrangements and each campus and college is set up a little differently.  Because there are so many options, you should be able to find a living space that suits you best, no matter your gender identity.

This page is intended to provide students with a quick shortcut to help to find the housing that suits them most accurately.  The on campus student housing details here include information about single rooms and double rooms, single gender and mixed gender/all gender housing arrangements, as well as information about washrooms.  If you identify as trans or have a specific questions related to gender and your student housing accommodations, feel free to get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to answer your questions or to help direct you to a person who can help.

Please note that the University of Toronto Housing Services provides the most accurate and up to date information. If there are any discrepancies in information, please rely on the Housing Services website or get in touch directly with Housing Services via email or phone (416-978-8045).
