Please request a 30-minute appointment for your first visit. If asked, you can say it is for an appointment related to gender-affirming care if you feel comfortable doing so.
Nurses and other health care professionals can also support ongoing hormone treatment and support, if requested.
International students who are using UHIP are advised to contact a health benefits plan specialist to determine what types of care and medications are covered through their plans.
