Creating a Positive Space
We have been working closely with a team of students at the Sexual & Gender Diversity Office and Athletic Centre to put together a set of activities that reflect the experiences and needs of our diverse LGBTQ communities. We encourage all students to participate in this event that strives to be supportive of all genders, sexualities, body types and understandings of health. Our games will create opportunities for everyone to play, regardless of skill-level or ability. We will include more information closer to the event about creating a positive space and change room facilities. All events are optional and a chill zone will be open at all times for students to hang out and chat.
If you have any questions or requests around accessibility or creating a positive & safe space, please contact Scott Clarke, Sexual & Gender Diversity Office or Susan Lee, Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education.
This event is organized by a team of students and staff at the Sexual & Gender Diversity Office, Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education, Move U and CHI.
