Queer & Trans Students of Colour Discussion: Life Stages

February 14 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

– What are some examples of “life stages”? Where have you learned about these ideas? Do you relate to these experiences?

– How does being an LGBTQ+ person of colour impact your ideas of life milestones?

– How does the idea of “queer time” challenge and help manage our expectations in regards to different life stages?

Join us on February 14th for a discussion circle and social where LGBTQ+, genderqueer, two-spirit, and questioning students of colour will talk about how sexuality and race affects our lives and communities. New and returning students across all three campuses are invited to meet other people and join in discussions that challenge racism, homophobia and transphobia.

LGBTQ+ students of colour are invited to build our communities, share stories and engage in discussion at the Queer Students of Colour Discussion Group. This discussion and social is organized as part of an ongoing series to invite LGBTQ+ students of colour and students questioning their gender and/ or sexual orientation together in a confidential space to share stories and ideas as we build community.

New and returning students across all three campuses are invited to meet other people and join in discussions that challenge racism, homophobia and transphobia.

Come and tell us what you think would help to create more positive spaces and more inclusive conversations!
