Q21: A Conversation Café: Sexual Health
Thursday, February 26, 2015 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
• What are the best ways you can protect yourself from HIV & STIs?
• How can we have open and honest conversations about sexual risk and sexual health with our partners?
• Where can I get tested for STIs & HIV and find accurate information?
This week at Q21, we’ll be asking questions about sexual health and how we navigate these conversations with our sexual partners, friends and as a community. Join us for an open conversation about sexuality, sexual health, PReP and various forms of protection.
We’re very excited to welcome Rui Pires and Dan Pineda from ACT to facilitate this week’s Q21!
Rui Pires is the Gay Men’s Sexual Health Educator at the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT). Rui has had a lot of experience in conducting outreach with the university community.
Dan Pineda is the peer support worker for the Totally outRIGHT program at the AIDS Committee of Toronto. He is also an alumnus of the University of Toronto and was a former volunteer with U of T SEC (Sex Ed Centre).
Q21 is a weekly conversation café to discuss the questions you want to talk about organized by the U of T Sexual & Gender Diversity Office. Every Thursday from 3:00 – 4:30 pm, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with students and guest facilitators as we share our thoughts, experiences and the questions that keep running through our minds. Each week will have a theme, though everyone is welcome to share their ideas and bring questions.
Be part of the discussion.
Eat the snacks.
