Film Screening & Talk with Lucah Rosenberg-Lee

Tuesday, September 24, 2019 @ 11:45 am - 2:30 pm

Join film director Lucah Rosenberg-Lee for the screening of his film “Passing,” a short documentary which profiles the lives of three men of colour who have undergone gender transition from female to male. The film explores what life is like living as a black man when no one knows you are transgender, and how each of them perceives their own journey with gender, after years of being interacted with as male. Lucah Rosenberg-Lee will be talking about his experience of being a black trans man, the impact and the limitations of the gender binary and gendered and racialized bodies.

There will be an amazing opportunity to join an informal conversation with Lucah afterwards. The screening and talk are a part of a class. All are welcome for Lucah’s film screening and presentation!

This is a wheelchair and scooter accessible event.
