“Universities are places of growth, identity exploration, and support,” said Dr. Jordan Goodridge, Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Speaking at the final event in the 2024-25 Gender Expansive Joy series, hosted by the Sexual & Gender Diversity Office (SGDO), he emphasized the vital role universities can play in supporting trans and gender-diverse community members seeking gender-affirming care.
