Tomorrow, on Tuesday, March 8, the University of Toronto will join communities around the world in recognizing International Women’s Day (IWD).
Officially recognized by the United Nations (UN) since the 1970s, International Women’s Day encourages us to celebrate the individual and collective contributions of women and gender-diverse people while acknowledging where progress is still needed to achieve gender equity.
