The Identity Project

You are invited to apply to join an intimate learning community for LGBTQ students and explore the impact your identity has on your learning. The Identity Project - Polaroid Image

How it works:

Through 6 interactive learning events, we ask students to take a critical look at community and belonging at U of T. Students will map university spaces and engage in discussions on topics that include negotiating queer and trans identities within the university, community and success at U of T, and decolonizing education.  At the end of the semester, students will engage in a project to remake their university experience.

The Identity Project is open to:

  • Undergraduate students who have completed at least one (1) year at U of T
  • Students interested in issues of gender and sexual identity
  • Students who can attend the scheduled events: Saturday, October 3, 2015 (10:00am-4:00pm) and sessions every other Thursday (5:00pm-7:00pm) until early December (a total of 6 events).
  • Deadline to apply: Thursday, October 1st – 5:00PM
