Q21: A Conversation Café – Fandoms & Building Community

March 30 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

– What kinds of “fandoms” are you involved in?
– What role does your fandom serve in your life? Why do you enjoy it?
– What can we learn from online community building that we can bring to building communities offline?

Join us for the final session of Q21 this semester! This week we will be talking about the importance (or lack of importance) that “fandoms” have in our lives. We will be thinking about all of the reasons that bring us to fandoms and all of the ways that we build communities around our various interests on- and offline.

LOCATION: Room 421 (Lounge), 21 Sussex Avenue
