Q21: A Conversation Café – Calling In/ Calling Out

March 23 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

– How do we hold ourselves and each other accountable?
– What is the end goal of “calling out” and “calling in”? Are they different?
– Is calling out/ calling in necessary for marginalized LGBTQ communities?

Join us for the second-to-last Q21 session this academic year! This week at Q21, we will be exploring the complexities and necessities of Call-Out and Call-In culture as a means to holding ourselves and each other accountable.

We are so excited to welcome Patrick Salvani/Ms. Nookie Galore is a horror writer and genderqueer drag queen. They are the FatherMom to the largest Queer and Trans BPOC program/show, The Drag Musical housed in Krafty Queers. Nookie’s work has been featured in CBC Arts, AGO First Thursday, Rhubarb Festival, Mayworks and published in the book Diaspora Intimacies. He/She/They/Anything but “Bro” believe in community and is always trying to do better while wearing heels at the same time.
