For many LGBTQ people being with family during the winter break can be tough or amazing. Tell us about your winter break and how is it being back.

Patrick Salvani is a Drag Queen that goes by the name of Ms. Nookie Galore, and is the Co-Founder and Director of the largest QTBIPOC showcase, the Drag Musical. It recently finished its 5th year with the extravagant re-imagining of the holidays, Nightmare Before Xmas – The Family Drag Musical. Currently, Patrick is the Administrator for Krafty Queers, an art and craft skill-share for Queer and Trans youth to heal from homophobic and transphobic bullying. Patrick has over 7 years experience bringing the Arts to the Social Service Sector and was the first Citizenship and Immigration LGBTQ Settlement Counselor in Canada. As a transformative education innovator with a love for all things haunting and supernatural, Patrick is also the Horror and Fan-Fiction writing facilitator with Asian Arts Freedom School. Believing that art fosters alternative visions of freedom, and that eyeliner can be mightier than the pen, Patrick works and dreams very hard so we can find healing in creating new realities.
