Outside the Box: School, Stress & Supporting Each Other

Wednesday, March 8, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Between assignments, exams, and the multiple other commitments and responsibilities many of us have, school can become a stressor that’s both overwhelming and isolating. But it is possible to push through! In this week’s Outside the Box, we’ll discuss strategies to stay motivated through the tough times, and recognizing the support systems we have around us all the time.

We are excited to welcome Manjot Bining to facilitate this week’s session! Manjot is a U of T graduate who currently works with the U of T Scarborough Department of Student Life, coordinating Leadership Programs. She has previously worked with the U of T Sexual and Gender Diversity Office, the Council of Agencies Serving South Asians, and Engineers Without Borders. Both an avid learner and workshop facilitator, she is always excited to find to connect and converse with new groups of people.

Outside the Box is a UTSC lunch and conversation series to bring students together every other Wednesday from 1:00 – 2:30 pm.

This event is hosted by the UTSC Equity & Diversity Office, the UTSC Department of Student Life and the Sexual & Gender Diversity Office.
